From here we call on all stakeholders to participate in an outreach event and entertainment that, if it comes to fruition, will take place in the city of León in the coming months.
What is?
is 1999. In a pub in London held the first edition of Skeptics in the pub , with the help of Dr. Scott Campbell. It is an informal meeting with a simple format: a speaker gives a short talk on a topic (chosen and announced in advance), and then discussions continue on foot bar, including paints and paints.
How organized?
first thing we want is to find people interested in a feature event in Leon: people with character skeptical and critical, though not necessarily people of science.
Once formed a group of people who want to participate, you need three things: A local
- not very noisy, which can give a lecture or talk.
- A person giving the lecture, about 30 minutes (more or less) and current topics: homeopathy, astrology, bad science, etc.
- An acceptable number of attendees.
Want to participate?
is a free event, there will be no admission charge, or pay a fee to join the group. Just bring along your skepticism and your desire to learn and share knowledge.
